Our client asked us to come up with a different concept for her large living room window, along with a related but smaller dining room window. We decided to use the same fabric, but in slightly different applications.
Here's a series of "before" pictures of the living room window. The main issue is that the sofa sits under the window, so we wanted a more tailored approach that would still allow natural light to spill into the space during the day, but provide a cozy and private feeling at night.
And here are the "after" pictures, with a gorgeous updated fabric that elevates the entire feel of the room.
And then, we did something a similar roman shade inside the frame for the informal dining room, which faces into the backyard.
