Our client just moved into a house with a nice formal living room. She and her husband have a large family and wants a seating area that could accommodate several adults at once, without closing off the room with lots of bulky furniture.
A large sofa in the client's favorite color helps to anchor the space, and the two pairs of chairs provide further seating. The adjacent dining room's chairs can be pulled in if needed. We like how the chairs shape and fabric complement each other.
She intends to install some curtains at the room's 3 windows to soften the edges, while allowing all the gorgeous natural light to shine in. We will also be on the hunt for some lamps and finishing touches.
