Before/After :: Refreshing a Wellness Practitioner's Office

Our favorite wellness professional just moved to new offices and asked us to help her to create a new welcoming reception area with some existing furniture, so we added some new pieces and tried the rug in a couple of configurations.  We also added a new reception counter from Nadeau Furniture in Alexandria.  (That place is great --- lots of solid wood furniture from Indonesia and it's all unique stuff.)

Next up, she will be personalizing the space with restful images on the wall and a new lighting plan to eliminate the need for the overhead florescent lighting that so many offices have.  It's going to be fantastic.  What a lovely staff to help you navigate all the services they provide.

First up, some pictures of the space on move-in day.  It had been freshly painted and had new carpet installed throughout.

She started with a few furniture pieces, and then we went shopping for additional items, seen below.

We scored a great rug at the Crate and Barrel outlet, and found 2 small scale blue chairs at Pier 1.

These pictures were obviously taken back in December with the festive holiday touches!

The clinic is located in Alexandria, near the intersection of King Street and Quaker Lane.  Check out the website and call Yhara, the lovely office assistant, to find out about all the services they offer!
