No Entry Hall? No Problem!

A friend's row house in Philadelphia posed the same challenges that many of us face :: the front door opens directly into the living space.  They came up with a great solution by constructing a new wall that sits perpendicular to the front of the house.  It includes many nice features :: a recessed light, trim that matches the rest of the house, a window that allows light to pass through ( I love that! ), a shelf that serves the function as an entry table, and a lower shelf/cubby.  This is a great use of space!
