In my living room I have a square glass topped coffee table. It was from my in laws way before they were my in laws. It has gone through a couple of reincarnations and now I really love it when I used to hate it! The one draw back is that there is only one surface space -no second level shelf. And because we all do a lot of reading in the living room we need more space for books. Over the last few years I have collected some baskets that sit under the table nestled in the triangles created by the supports. They are not perfect fits - but fun anyway!
