We've got a client who dreamed up a collage of "M"s for her bedroom. Fun! We gathered the letters from different sources, and mixed in some framed snapshots too. We'll show you the final product from our letter project in another post, but want to share our favorite custom wood letter source here.
We used Woodland Manufacturing for our wood letter. Fabulous! You can choose size, material, font ... and they get it to you in about a week. Arrived perfectly packaged and ready to go.
Our original plan was to paint the letter to coordinate with our other letters, but then we decided to try Mod Podge. We used the sparkly kind. Why not? We used lots of crinkly pink tissue paper as a base. Then we layered on small squares of pretty decorative paper. We started with newspaper as a work surface, then transferred to waxed paper to avoid unwanted adhesion!
