I am embarking on a new adventure: dreaming up a new kitchen! We hope to renovate next year. I've been thinking of what I'd like since the day we moved in, of course. But reconciling design dreams and budget realities make things challenging. I'll let you know how it all goes.
We have wood floors throughout the house, but I don't want them in the kitchen. I'm still drawn to the wood look, but I'd like the durability of tile. So I've started to research porcelain wood-grain, wide plank designs. I figure if it's good enough for high traffic areas in my local Ben & Jerry's and Caribou Coffee, it's got to be good enough for me! Only question: do I want that dark grout or something lighter?
