This smoothie starts with a nice portion of greek yogurt. I use Chobani vanilla nonfat. It provides a nice helping of protein and leaves you feeling full! To the yogurt, I add a little milk, a ripe banana, and some frozen fruit :: raspberries, mixed berries, mango, pineapple :: lots of choices available in the freezer case of the grocery store. I like my smoothies to be a little thick, but you can do your own thing!
I make a blender full for all the littles, plus me, and I often make extra cups to stick in the freezer for a yummy mid-afternoon snack.
Protein powder? I haven't tried this yet, although I know most people swear by it. I'd be interested if anyone has a particular brand they recommend.
