We took a road trip a few weekends ago to hit a few local barn sales. If you've never done this, I highly recommend it --- if only to see all the treasures out there! Luckily, the sun was shining bright and we were inspired by the goods on display. Some new, some vintage, some antique! Usually, the barn sales are held once a month, or maybe 4 times a year. You get get the best selection by hitting it on its first day, but there were still deals to be found when we were there.
First up, Chartreuse in Frederick, MD. There is a legit barn(!) and it's filled to the brim with all kinds of stuff.
Next on our list:
Stylish Patina. Owner Kelly has space at
Stifel & Capra in Falls Church, but also does a sale here at the barn about once a month. She had tons of great stuff on display!
We were so inspired by the furniture, accessories, clever ideas ... We made a few other stops that day, but we will save for another post!
